Cuellar’s Shutdown Hurts First Responders

On National First Responders Day, Henry Cuellar is paying lip service to our heroes while his shutdown hurts the very people who protect our communities.

Because of Cuellar’s shutdown, FEMA grants for fire, EMS, and emergency preparedness are delayed, and local departments are being forced to stretch their budgets just to keep serving families.
