Day 29: McDonald Rivet Started the Shutdown, Stopped Paychecks

This week, thousands of service members are going to miss paychecks because of Kristen McDonald Rivet’s shutdown. While troops stand ready to defend our nation, Democrats are standing in the way of paying them.

House Republicans passed commonsense legislation to keep the government open, fund the military, and keep pay flowing, but McDonald Rivet voted no to score political points.
