Day 29: Sykes Put Partisan Politics Over Those Who Protect Us

This week, thousands of service members are going to miss paychecks because of Emilia Sykes’ shutdown. While troops stand ready to defend our nation, Democrats are standing in the way of paying them.

House Republicans passed commonsense legislation to keep the government open, fund the military, and keep pay flowing, but Sykes voted no to score political points.
