ICYMI: Begich Delivers for Alaska…Again

In case you missed it, Congressman Nick Begich delivered yet another win for Alaska and America, leading the charge to extend critical military land holdings which ensures the readiness of America’s Armed Services.

Congressman Begich’s legislation will:

• Grant a 25-year extension for military use of lands at Fort Greely, Fort Wainwright, McGregor Range, and Fort Irwin, keeping them available for long-term training and operational needs.
• Support force preparedness by preserving top-tier training locations for Army, Air Force, and joint activities that are essential for Arctic, missile-defense, and Indo-Pacific missions.
• Promote responsible management by updating official records and boosting public transparency.
