WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released an “Inside the Majority” video highlighting Rep. Mike Lawler’s commitment to showing up for his constituents and bringing down the cost of living.

“I represent an area that has among the highest property taxes in the country, the highest tax burden, and highest cost of doing business, and so a big part of my focus down in Washington is how we address that. It’s why I fought so hard in the Working Families Tax Cut bill to lift the cap on SALT. It was the single largest tax cut in the entire bill. And we were able to quadruple the SALT cap from $10,000 to $40,000. 90% of my district will be able to fully deduct their state and local taxes.”

“When I’m not in Washington, I’m back in my district. I’m proud of the fact that last Congress we did over 1,200 in-person events in district. I believe in the importance of showing up.”
