Rural Nevada just scored a massive healthcare win and it came despite the best efforts of the state’s Democrat delegation to stop it.
This week, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced that Nevada will receive $179 million through the Rural Health Transformation Program, part of the broader $50 billion rural healthcare investment included in President Trump and Republicans’ One Big Beautiful Bill.

Yet while rural Nevadans celebrate, it’s worth remembering who tried to block this investment.
Democrats Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Steven Horsford all voted against the Big Beautiful Bill, effectively opposing $179 million flowing into rural Nevada healthcare.

This rural healthcare investment also builds on Donald Trump’s broader push to lower healthcare costs nationwide. Earlier this year, President Trump secured agreements with 14 of the 17 largest pharmaceutical companies to reduce drug prices, part of a larger effort to increase transparency, rein in Big Pharma, and put American patients first.
