Lincoln, Flores, Tijerina: Hispanic Republicans Ready to Win Battleground Seats

January 12, 2026

Republicans are on offense nationwide, with momentum accelerating across key battleground districts as Hispanic candidates are stepping up to earn Hispanic voters’ trust, something Democrats have taken for granted for years.

In California’s 13th District, Kevin Lincoln is a third-generation Stocktonian who has lived a life of service, from serving as a U.S. Marine assigned to protect Marine One to later becoming the Mayor of Stockton. Throughout his career, Lincoln has put community first, delivering results through steady leadership and a commitment to the Americans he served.

In Texas’ 28th DistrictTano Tijerina is a husband, father, and Webb County Judge who has earned a reputation for being hands-on, forward-thinking, and tireless in his work to strengthen South Texas. From improving infrastructure to supporting law enforcement to expanding opportunities for young people, he’s focused on building a better future for the next generation.

In Texas’ 34th, Eric Flores was commissioned as an infantry officer in the Army and rose to the rank of captain. Flores has served in the Texas Army National Guard and led troops to help secure the U.S.-Mexico border. Flores is a former assistant U.S. attorney and served as a municipal judge in the city of Alton.

“Republicans aren’t just talking about earning Hispanic voters’ trust, we’re continuing to work and build it. Outstanding candidates like Eric Flores, Kevin Lincoln, and Tano Tijerina reflect their communities, understand the challenges working families face, and are stepping up to help grow a House majority focused on opportunity, security, and the American Dream.” – NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez
