Jared Moskowitz Rejects Millions for Rural Healthcare in Florida

January 16, 2026

Today, President Trump highlighted the rural healthcare fund that Republicans established for the American people. Florida is set to receive nearly $210 million in critical funding to keep rural hospitals open, expand access to care, and ensure families aren’t forced to travel hours for basic medical services.

Vulnerable Democrat Jared Moskowitz voted against this funding, endangering rural hospitals in Florida and across the country.

“Jared Moskowitz’s vote against critical healthcare funding for Florida communities is a slap in the face to Floridians who continue to be ignored by Democrats. While Republicans deliver results, Moskowitz continues to play partisan political games.” – NRCC Spokesman Maureen O’Toole
