Shannon Bird’s Actions: “Slap in the Face to Voters”

Progressive Democrat Shannon Bird abandoned Coloradans to focus on her losing Democrat primary. Her move is being described as a “slap in the face to voters.”

A new poll showed Shannon Bird is falling behind in the Democrat primary as radical Democrat Manny Rutinel, who is aligned with Zohran Mamdani, crushes her in fundraising. 

Reporting highlighted that, “Bird’s unique timing for vacating HD 29, which includes parts of Adams and Jefferson counties, takes advantage of a quirk in the law allowing for her replacement to serve possibly an entire extra year more than state statute sets forth for House members.”

One of Shannon Bird’s Democrat primary opponents said it best, “voters are sick of seeing politicians put their ambitions ahead of actually doing their jobs.”
