Now, new video shows that on November 18, 2025, Ammar Campa-Najjar attended a CA-48 Candidate forum in San Diego where he said the quiet part out loud, declaring that if elected to Congress he would look at ICE and the Department of Homeland Security and push to “pare it down, not pare it up.”

Campa-Najjar argued that there’s a “strong argument to be made that they’re doing a lot more than they should be doing.” He added, “It’s what I believe.”

“Out of touch Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar is openly calling to weaken ICE and shrink border enforcement to satisfy a radical vendetta against law enforcement, and he doesn’t care how many Californians are put at risk in the process.
