California Democrats aren’t even pretending anymore, abandoning their handpicked progressive hero Jasmeet Bains to fall in line behind Bernie-endorsed Randy Villegas.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Socialist Villegas outraised progressive Bains $373,861 to $299,671 and enters 2026 with a $100k cash-on-hand advantage.
