Don Davis is in Serious Trouble

Out of touch Democrat Don Davis has once again found himself right where he belongs: among the most vulnerable Democrats in the country. Yesterday, the National Journal released their House race ratings, showing NC-01 is among the top 3 pickup opportunities for Republicans.

Davis is in trouble for a number of reasons:

• President Trump enjoys broad support in Eastern North Carolina, winning Davis’s district by double digits in 2024.
• Despite his district’s support for the President, Davis has tried to obstruct the America First agenda by voting to hike North Carolina families’ taxes and block critical support for North Carolina farmers.
• Davis also voted to shut down the government last year, potentially delaying critical funding for communities devastated by Hurricane Helene.
• He even refused to protect North Carolina families, voting “PRESENT” on the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act.
