NRCC Announces Laurie Buckhout to First Round of Additions to MAGA Majority Program

WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) today announced Laurie Buckhout is on the initial list of 9 candidates for the 2026 MAGA Majority.

“As a retired Army Colonel who commanded troops in combat, Laurie Buckhout is ready to defeat do-nothing Don Davis and flip NC-01 red this November. The MAGA Majority is an NRCC program focused on supporting and elevating the next wave of America First candidates who will help expand the Republican House majority in 2026.

The program highlights a slate of strong candidates running in key battleground districts across the country who embody the Trump agenda: securing the border, lowering costs, restoring energy dominance, and putting American workers first.
