As questions swirl around Eric Swalwell’s ties to a political AI startup and potential self-enrichment, his campaign co-chair, Democrat Adam Gray, has gone conspicuously quiet. 

That silence isn’t surprising. Adam Gray has his own record of self-enrichment, including backing taxpayer-funded redevelopment at a site where he later personally profited to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and the value of Gray’s investment skyrocketed to more than $2 million.

This is how the game works in Democrat circles: look the other way when it’s one of your own.
