Sarah Trone Garriott’s Extreme Agenda

Radical Democrat and pastor Sarah Trone Garriott is pushing a dangerous agenda that’s wildly out of step with Iowa families.

According to Pew Research, a majority of Protestant Americans support protecting girls’ sports, biological-sex-based bathrooms, and a majority oppose teaching gender identity in elementary schools.

But Sarah Trone Garriott has consistently taken the opposite position.

In a 2023 speech at a church, she praised the “GLBTQ movement” as “threatening to the white male” and claimed concerns about men in women’s sports stem from “white men” trying to protect “fragile” women.And a new report reveals her voting record backs up words. In the State House, she:

• Voted against requiring school bathrooms based on biological sex
• Voted against banning gender transition procedures for minors
• Voted against protections for girls’ sports
• Opposed keeping gender identity instruction out of K-6 classrooms
• Supported pushing sex education as early as kindergarten
