Bohannan’s Anti-Police Agenda

Over the weekend, five people were injured in a shooting in Iowa City, including three University of Iowa students. Now, police are looking for the shooter and other persons’ of interest.

As law enforcement works to deliver justice, Christina Bohannan’s work to undermine law enforcement is coming under scrutiny. In 2020, Bohannan opposed Iowa’s Back the Blue law, dismissing it as “dangerous and disturbing.”  And as DEI chair at the University of Iowa, Professor Bohannan encouraged students to donate to funds that aimed to “dismantle, defund, and abolish the police.”

Bohannan has repeatedly chosen to stand with the far-left instead of the men and women who put on the badge.
