Secretary of Agriculture visits La Crosse ahead of farm bill vote

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins visited an area farm ahead of the Farm Bill being voted on later this week.

Rollins and Republican Congressman Derrick Van Orden met with dozens of farmers gathered at Morning Star Dairy in Onalaska on Monday. After a roundtable session that was closed to the media, Rollins held a short conference to talk about the upcoming Farm Bill.

Rollins said farmers will see the benefits of the Working Families Act from the Big Beautiful Bill this coming fall.
