Political Opportunist Paige is the Biggest Danger to Healthcare in NEPA

Today, political opportunist Paige Cognetti had the gall to host a press conference about protecting healthcare. No one has done more to endanger Pennsylvanians’ access to care than Cognetti, so if she wants to see results, she’ll resign.

Cognetti’s record on healthcare is nothing short of abysmal:

• Cognetti nearly forced Scranton families to live without a full-service emergency room until Congressman Rob Bresnahan stepped in and saved Scranton’s hospitals.
• Cognetti slashed paid maternity leave for City of Scranton employees.
• Political opportunist Paige also raised copays for Department of Public Works employees.

On the other hand, after saving Scranton’s hospitals this past year, Congressman Bresnahan is fighting to bring back millions of dollars for NEPA’s hospitals.

Cognetti destroys healthcare. Bresnahan saves it. The difference couldn’t be clearer.
