Thanks to Socialist Mamdani, Upstate Taxpayers Are Bailing Out NYC

Krazy Kathy Hochul is handing NYC’s socialist mayor a $4 billion bailout, funded by, you guessed it, Upstate taxpayers. And what exactly are they paying for? To namejust a few:

• City-run grocery stores, which will cost four times as much to build as privately run grocery stores;
• Free, city-owned day care for city employees only, which will cost more than twice as much as privately owned daycares;
• An additional $150 million in state money for NYC schools, even though NYC schools’ enrollment is hitting record lows…

Oh, and if Upstate families visit NYC, they can expect to be greeted by more hidden fees on taxi rides and at concession stands in city parks, and increased ticketing of cars in bus lanes. And Upstate taxpayers have every single New York Democrat, including Josh Riley, to thank.
