Wisconsin Democrats including Emily Berge, Rebecca Cooke’s primary opponent in the 3rd congressional district, signed onto a letter emphasizing their support of sex-change surgeries for minors.
Local elected officials that have endorsed Rebecca Cooke also signed onto the letter.
The letter ends, in part, with, “we also call on healthcare providers, elected officials, and community leaders across Wisconsin to stand clearly and publicly” on the issue of sex-change surgeries for minors.
