Instead of Protecting Missouri Taxpayers, Cleaver is Enabling Fraud.

House Republicans are focused on preventing fraud in government to protect Missourians’ tax dollars. But Emanuel Cleaver? He just voted to enable it.

That’s right, Emanuel Cleaver just voted AGAINST a commonsense resolution denouncing those who defraud taxpayers and pledging support for stronger safeguards against fraud, including through verifying eligibility before taxpayer dollars are wrongfully sent out the door.
