Colorado confirms the socialist takeover of the Democrat Party

July 1, 2026

Tonight’s Democrat primary results across Colorado confirm that the socialist takeover of the Democrat Party isn’t confined to New York City or deep-blue enclaves. It’s spreading into the very battlegrounds that will decide control of Congress.

Radical socialist Manny Rutinel is now the Democrat nominee in the highly competitive CO-08, despite Democrats themselves consistently warning he would put the seat at risk if nominated rather than the establishment pick. And radical lunatic Phil Weiser just toppled Senator Michael Bennet while Democrat incumbent Diana DeGette is trailing socialist Melat Kiros.

This follows a string of socialist insurgent wins that have humiliated the Democrat establishment: socialists steamrolled Hakeem Jeffries’ allies in New York, while Randy Villegas in CA-22 and Matt Dunlap in ME-02 defeated the DCCC’s preferred candidates in messy primaries, exposing a party increasingly controlled by its socialist wing.

“The socialist takeover of the Democrat Party is no longer confined to deep-blue strongholds. The radicals are taking over battleground districts, putting must-win seats out of reach for Democrats and sinking their chances of flipping the House.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella
