NRCC Statement on VA-02

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released the following statement on Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District primary election: 

“Congresswoman Jen Kiggans is a Navy veteran, wife, and mother who has delivered historic tax relief for Hampton Roads families, voted to ban Members of Congress and their families from trading stocks, and was recently rated the most effective lawmaker in Virginia. Conversely, retread loser Elaine Luria is a corrupt, soulless hypocrite who used her taxpayer-funded position to make millions of dollars by trading stocks while saddling Virginians with historic inflation and record-high gas prices. Virginians already rejected loser Luria’s high-price, far-left, tax-and-spend agenda once, and will do so again this November.” – NRCC Spokesman Reilly Richardson
