Fraud Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s Phony Working-Class Fairy Tale Falls Apart
A new report is ripping open the holes in Fraud Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s carefully manufactured blue-collar biography.

Perez claimed she worked three jobs and paid for Reed College “by the credit hour” after her parents stopped covering tuition. But Perez’s latest financial disclosure lists no reportable student-loan debt.
Perez’s supposed “iPhone case factory” was actually a small artisanal bamboo workshop, and it was questioned whether her jobs could have covered even a fraction of Reed’s tuition.
An archived biography from her auto shop also described Perez as working “mostly behind the scenes” managing the business side.
“Fraud Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s blue-collar fairy tale has more holes than a rusted-out muffler. Every time Southwest Washington looks under the hood, another piece of her manufactured biography falls off. Fraud Perez isn’t a working-class champion. She’s a political lemon wrapped in Carhartt.” – NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez
