WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released the latest installment of its “MAGA Majority” series, highlighting Carlos De La Cruz’s journey from being raised by a single mother to serving 20 years in the United States Air Force, deploying to hostile locations after 9/11 and combating dangerous drug cartels along the southern border.

My name is Carlos De La Cruz. I’m running for Congressional District, Texas 35th. 

I was raised by a single mother. We didn’t have much. When I turned 18, I joined the military, and I really felt that the military gave me my shot at the American Dream.

I served my country for 20 years in the United States Air Force and deployed multiple times to hostile locations after 9/11. I also deployed to our southern border to conduct drug interdiction operations against some of the most dangerous cartels in the world.

[…] I want to make sure we rebuild an economy that works for working families. I also want a border that stays secure so we never have to return to the chaos we saw during the Biden administration.

Johnny Garcia is going to have to answer to the voters. He has been campaigning with one of the most liberal and extreme voices in government, James Talarico.
