Portland’s Longtime Congressman Claims Sam Forstag

Socialist lobbyist Sam Forstag wants Montanans to believe he’s one of them. Portland just claimed him as its own.

In a story published today by The Oregonian, longtime Portland Congressman Earl Blumenauer hailed Forstag as part of “a renaissance” in the Democrat Party, said Portland’s values were “part of our DNA,” and argued those values carry over to districts like Montana’s 1st.

Montanans should take him at his word.

Portland is what happens when liberals get everything they want: high taxes, rising crime, failed schools, and leaders who can’t fix their own streets. And Forstag’s lobbying record reads like it was written in Portland:

• Forstag earned more than $250,000 in lobbying work for lunatic lefty organizations including the ACLU of Montana and Planned Parenthood. 
• Lobbied to abolish ICE, block local police from cooperating with federal immigration authorities, create a pathway to citizenship for illegals, and allow biological males to compete in girls’ sports and full insurance coverage for gender-transition care.  
• Prominently featured Sanders and AOC, boasting that they backed him as a “progressive brawler.“
