10 Questions For Ann Kirkpatrick

September 24, 2014

This evening, Andy Tobin and Ann Kirkpatrick will debate on Arizona Horizon.kirkpatrick-logo

**Kirkpatrick refused to attend this same debate two years ago, so it’s nice to see her finally come out of hiding. Let’s hope she doesn’t walk out in the middle of it.

Here’s some burning questions for Obama’s biggest supporter in Arizona:

  1. Why did Kirkpatrick voted against a common-sense energy package last week that would helped save jobs in Arizona and lower energy costs? (H.R. 2, Roll Call Vote #515, 9/18/14)
  2. Will Kirkpatrick finally pay back the taxpayers for the more than $100,000 in taxpayer money she gave out to her staff and campaign aides? (Arizona Republic)
  3. Why did Kirkpatrick miss 16 votes her first week back in Congress? (Arizona Republic)
  4. Ann said “if you like your plan, you can keep it.” But then she voted against a bipartisan plan to let people keep their plans. Why? (Roll Call #587, 11/15/13)
  5. Why did Kirkpatrick vote against sending National Guard to the border? (HB2701)
  6. Why did Kirkpatrick vote against a border security package that include funds for increased border enforcement and National Guard at the border? (HR 5230)
  7. Why did Kirkpatrick’s office go more than a week ignoring warnings from the VA whistleblower, while our veterans continued to wait and suffer? (Arizona Republic)
  8. During the government shutdown, why did Kirkpatrick vote twice against a bipartisan measure to reopen the Grand Canyon and ensure veterans and seniors received their benefits on time? (Roll Call #508, 10/1/2013) (Roll Call #513, 10/2/2013)
  9. Does Kirkpatrick still stand by her support for the stimulus now that it has sent billions in taxpayer dollars to foreign companies and created jobs in China?
  10. How can Kirkpatrick claim to be bipartisan when she votes with her party nearly 84 percent of time?
