Vicente Gonzalez tries to save face, lies about redistricting process

In case you missed it, Vicente Gonzalez said in a statement yesterday he’s only running in Texas’ 34^th Congressional District because Texas Republicans moved him into that district from Texas’ 15^th Congressional District. 

That’s not true. 

As The Texas Tribune reported, “it was a Democratic amendment that moved Gonzalez’s home into the 34th District.”

The reality is Vicente Gonzalez knows he can’t win a competitive election in Texas’ 15^th District and now he’s lying to save face.
