JOINT ECONOMIC COMMITTEE REPORT: High inflation a staple of life in MI today
“High inflation is a staple of life in the United States today,” according to a new study from the United States Congress Joint Economic Committee.
In the East North Central Region:
- Inflation is costing $391 monthly per household
- Housing is up 5%
- Food is up 8%
- Energy is up 24%
- Transportation is up 22%
