In light of the news that the D.C. City Council is withdrawing its controversial crime bill to forestall a vote against it in the Senate, the NRCC released the following statement:

“173 House Democrat extremists voted to support reduced penalties for violent crime, and they will be forced to own their radical vote all cycle long.” — NRCC National Press Secretary Will Reinert.
