The cartels can thank Vicente Gonzalez

This afternoon Rep. Vicente Gonzalez appeared on Fox News and tried to rewrite history. He seems to be forgetting his very pivotal role in helping drug smugglers and gang leaders. 

Today Gonzalez said: 

“We’ve allowed this to fester for the better part of the last 20 years. We continue to allow the violence to fester and grow and cartels to become more and more powerful.”

And who do the cartels have to thank for their increased growth in Texas? Vicente Gonzalez. 

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Gonzalez founded his law firm in 1997. Throughout his time with this firm, Gonzalez represented an array of felony drug dealers.
