Hayes must reject foreign money benefitting her campaign

Jahana Hayes says she opposes dark money, but she received support from foreign billionaire Hansjörg Wyss laundered through an opaque web of dark money vehicles.

AP reported today on how Wyss’ foreign dark money network, which paid for TV ads benefitting Jahana Hayes, skirts the ban on foreign money in campaigns.

Jahana Hayes called dark money “unacceptable.” Yet, Hayes benefitted from Wyss’ foreign influence. 

“Jahana Hayes is a liar and a hypocrite bankrolled by a foreign billionaire’s dark money conspiracy. Jahana Hayes must reject the foreign dark money used to prop up her political campaign or be complicit in this perversion of the law.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Savannah Viar
