Yesterday, former Ulster Finance Commissioner Burt Gulnick plead guilty to grand larceny.

The same Finance Commissioner that Pat Ryan rewarded with repeated payraises between 2020 and 2022. 

This isn’t the first time Pat Ryan has rewarded those accused of mismanagement or outright criminal behavior.

Just last month New York Post reported on the a top aide to Ryan who was busted for illegally routing taxpayer grants to his friends and family. And how did Ryan reward him? By hiring him again, this time for his Congressional office.
