Another Win: Young Kim’s Bill Eases Burden on Small Business Owners

July 24, 2025

Yesterday, Congresswoman Young Kim delivered another bipartisan win, passing the Improving Access to Small Business Information Act, a commonsense bill that cuts red tape and helps small business owners thrive.

The bill streamlines how the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation gathers insights from entrepreneurs by exempting certain activities from the burdensome Paperwork Reduction Act, freeing the Office to better identify barriers to capital and serve small businesses more effectively.

“Congresswoman Young Kim is proving that leadership focused on results can cut through Washington’s bureaucracy. This bill empowers small business owners, reduces regulatory headaches, and shows that bipartisan solutions are possible for Californians.” – NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez
