Kristen McDonald Rivet Masterclass of Silence, Evasion, and Abandonment

After 237 days of more than 270,000 Michiganders left without representation because of self-serving Democrat Kristen McDonald Rivet, Governor Whitmer finally decided to do the bare minimum and call for a Special Election.

During the 200+ day wait, there was a bipartisan push in calling on Governor Whitmer to do her job. This included Democrat Lt. Governor Gilchrist, Democrat Attorney General Nessel, Young Democrats of Michigan, Michigan College Democrats, and Michigan High School Democrats. 

The Detroit Free Press Editorial Board and the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board also called on Whitmer to call for a Special Election.

However, self-serving Democrat Kristen McDonald Rivet remained SILENT.

McDonald Rivet even went as far as to run into oncoming traffic to avoid being asked about the fact that her constituents had no representation in the state Senate.
