Miller-Meeks and Nunn Put Iowans First While Dems Prioritize a Dangerous Shutdown

Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Zach Nunn voted to keep the government open, and now, they’ve vowed to forgo their congressional salary if Democrats shut down the government, because for Miller-Meeks and Nunn, it’s about putting Iowa first, not politics.

If Democrats get their way, Iowa families’ safety will be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay, veterans may lose access to critical programs, and Head Start funding may be endangered for thousands of kids across the state.
