Drastic Don Davis is Trying to Shut the Government Down

Government funding runs out today, and it’s all Don Davis’ fault. Out of touch obstructionist Don Davis put politics over people and voted against legislation to keep the government open.

Davis’ reckless stunt forces North Carolinians to face unnecessary uncertainty. A shutdown jeopardizes paychecks for servicemembers, law enforcement, TSA agents, and more. It delays hurricane relief for North Carolina communities and assistance for small businesses, cuts off funding for Head Start, and puts veterans’ services at risk. All because Davis would rather play games than do his job.
