Cognetti is Feeling the Heat for Leaving Scranton Without an ER

Paige Cognetti is feeling the heat for jeopardizing Pennsylvanians’ healthcare access. In 2023, Cognetti acknowledged not allowing a Scranton medical center to expand their emergency room could “[block] health care providers from effectively running their operations,” yet she willingly blocked their expansion efforts.
