Josh Riley Put Politics Over Paychecks
It has officially been one week of the government shutdown and New Yorkers are feeling the pressure.
New Yorkers are losing $1.2 billion in Gross State Product each month, about $140 million worth of small business loans are getting held up, and over 115,000 workers are furloughed or working without pay.
This must end, but Josh Riley does not care. He voted for this shut down rather than continuing to fund the government and now he’s placing blame everywhere but on himself.
“Josh Riley is shameful. He voted to shut down the government and, in turn, is hurting New Yorkers. It is high time he stops playing political games with peoples’ livelihoods and works to put New Yorkers first.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
