Out of touch Democrat Janelle Bynum’s shutdown is a gut punch to seniors. By closing the government, Bynum is risking delays in Medicare help and Social Security services, piling stress onto people who rely on them every single day. 

A new report warns seniors in Oregon could even see delays in their Social Security cost-of-living adjustment, leaving less money for groceries, gas, and prescriptions.
