A storm’s coming, and Nellie Pou left New Jersey helpless

October 11, 2025

New Jersey is bracing for impact from a dangerous nor’easter, and thanks to Nellie Pou’s cowardly, self-serving vote that shut down the government, there’s no help in sight.

The storm is expected to bring the highest water levels since Sandy, and NJ has already declared a state of emergency. But if New Jersey needs any federal relief aid, FEMA may not be there to help. With the government shut down, FEMA can’t borrow any additional funds once it runs out – no matter how bad things get from the storm.

This is out of touch Nellie Pou’s radical agenda: Risk the safety and security of New Jerseyans in order to send taxpayer-funded handouts to illegals and bow down to the far left.

“Nellie Pou’s vote that shut down the government isn’t just a cowardly partisan move, it’s a flat-out dangerous situation for her own constituents. New Jerseyans deserve a representative who serves them, not threatens them.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
