ICYMI: Out of Touch Dems Rake in Out of State Cash in MI-07

A new report is highlighting that out of touch and “non-local Democrats” Bridget Brink and Matt Maasdam raked in out of state cash with Brink taking money from the Soros family.

“Out of touch and out of town Democrats Bridget Brink and Matt Maasdam are raking in cash from zip codes they can’t even point to on a map. Michigan voters will reject liberal-elite funded political tourists Brink and Maasdam.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Bannon

Bridge Michigan reported:

“Bridget Brink, a former ambassador to Ukraine, raised more than $600,000 in the quarter, as did Matt Maasdam, a former Navy SEAL. For both candidates the vast majority of their itemized donations came from outside the state.

Brink’s contributors included liberal megadonors such as George and Alex Soros.”

This follows previous reporting on the “expensive, chaotic race to the Left” in Michigan’s 7th stating:

“Two of the race’s frontrunners, Bridget Brink and Matt Maasdam, barely have a foot in the district. Brink, fresh off her diplomatic post, bought a house in Lansing just months ago, a clear carpetbagging move designed to give her just enough of a claim to run. Maasdam, meanwhile, lives in Ann Arbor, which isn’t even in MI-07.
