Ruiz pays lip service while delaying critical FEMA grants

On National First Responders Day, Raul Ruiz is paying lip service to our heroes while their shutdown hurts the very people who protect our communities.

Because of the Ruiz’s shutdown, FEMA grants for fire, EMS, and emergency preparedness are delayed, and local departments are being forced to stretch their budgets just to keep serving families.
