Perez’s politics grounded controllers and delayed flights
Thanks to Marie Gluesenkamp Perez air traffic controllers are now missing paychecks, and are warning that the shutdown is threatening aviation safety and putting travel chaos on the horizon.
This week, the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, representing 20,000 safety workers, launched an airport campaign at DC, Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles to tell passengers the truth: Democrats’ political stunt is jeopardizing safety and worsening the controller shortage.
Every day, more unions are turning against Democrats, including the U.S. Capitol Police Union, the American Federation of Government Employees, and now NATCA, demanding they end the shutdown and let Americans fly safely again.
“From the border to the skies, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s shutdown is putting lives and livelihoods at risk. While air traffic controllers miss paychecks and passengers face delays, Perez is still playing politics.” – NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez
