Day 29: Kaptur’s Shutdown Cut Pay for Troops

This week, thousands of service members are going to miss paychecks because of Marcy Kaptur’s shutdown. While troops stand ready to defend our nation, Democrats are standing in the way of paying them.

House Republicans passed commonsense legislation to keep the government open, fund the military, and keep pay flowing, but Kaptur voted no to score political points.
