Day 29: Suozzi and Gillen turned their backs on America’s heroes

This week, thousands of service members are going to miss paychecks because of Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen’s shutdown. While troops stand ready to defend our nation, Democrats are standing in the way of paying them.

House Republicans passed commonsense legislation to keep the government open, fund the military, and keep pay flowing, but Suozzi and Gillen voted no to score political points.
