Marcy Kaptur Chose Partisan Games Over Lower Healthcare Costs

December 18, 2025

Out of touch Democrat Marcy Kaptur just turned her back on Ohioans, voting against commonsense reforms to make healthcare affordable for working families.

At a time when Ohioans are being crushed by rising premiums, higher prescription drug costs, and fewer provider options, Kaptur chose politics over patients. Marcy Kaptur voted against a solution that would lower costs, expand access to care, and give families more flexibility with their health care decisions.

“Ohioans deserve access to affordable and accessible health care, instead of empty promises and partisan games from radical Democrats. Out of touch Marcy Kaptur had the chance to support commonsense reforms that put patients first, and once again chose the D.C. status quo over the people she is supposed to represent. — NRCC Spokesman Zach Bannon
