Radical Base Refuses to Rally Behind Two Weak Democrats in CA-48

California Democrats are in full-blown disarray. Neither progressive Marni von Wilpert nor socialist Ammar Campa-Najjar could consolidate support from their own base, a flashing warning sign that Sacramento Democrats know that both radical Democrats are unelectable. 

If Marni and Ammar can’t even secure the backing of their own radical, out of touch activist base, they have no shot at convincing Californians in November.
