Kaptur Votes to Defund Law Enforcement, Block Pay for TSA Workers

March 28, 2026

Last night, Marcy Kaptur voted to defund law enforcement and block pay for TSA officers.

Instead of supporting funding for DHS, including ICE, Border Patrol, and TSA, Kaptur sided with the far-left and voted against the very people who keep Americans safe.

That means Kaptur voted:

  • Against paying TSA workers
  • Against border security
  • Against law enforcement

At a time when Americans are waiting in long airport lines and demanding a secure border, Kaptur chose politics over public safety.

“Marcy Kaptur voted to defund law enforcement and leave TSA workers without paychecks, all to appease the radical left. It’s a stunning display of misplaced priorities, and voters will hold Kaptur accountable.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Bannon
