Editor: I wanted to highlight the work Congressman Rob Bresnahan is doing to advocate for Northeastern Pennsylvania. At a time when many first-term representatives are still finding their footing, Congressman Bresnahan has shown a willingness to be direct and assertive in fighting for our region.

I recently came across a report indicating that he requested $59 million in funding for projects across our community. That’s not a small or symbolic ask. It reflects a serious commitment to bringing real resources home to NEPA. Too often, freshman members of Congress take a more cautious approach, but Congressman Bresnahan is clearly focused on delivering tangible results from day one.

What stands out is his understanding that representation means more than just holding the office, but rather actively pushing for investments that improve infrastructure, support local economies, and strengthen our communities. His efforts show that NEPA has a voice in Washington that is not hesitant to speak up.
